The 37th Annual AIA Austin Homes Tour will be held October 28-29, 2023.

Submissions are open for the 2023 AIA Austin Homes Tour through April 6, 2023 on the AIA Austin Submittable platform.

To submit:

  1. Download the Homes Tour application packet and forms here.
  2. Set up a Submittable account here if you do not already have one. The direct link to submissions is here.
  3. Upload all submissions by 11:59pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

We are also looking for the 2023-24 Homes Tour Photographer!

The call is also open for the next AIA Austin Homes Tour photographer. This two-year commitment provides exclusive access and rights to all Homes Tour images across all platforms. Photography takes place in June and July and final images in web and print resolution must be available by late July. These images are the only official photos for Homes Tour promotion. AIA Austin contractors must be up to date on COVID vaccinations.

  • Monday, 02/06: Call for Entries for Homes & Photographers posted
  • Monday, 03/13: Committee Meeting w/ Q&A for architects who want to submit a home. 5:30PM at AIA Austin
  • Thursday, 04/06: Architect & Photographer submissions due @ 5pm
  • Monday, 04/10: Committee Meeting: Short list selection
  • Saturday-Sunday, 05/20-05/21: Committee site tours for all short-listed entries. Schedule w/ each architect TBD
  • Monday, 05/22: Discussion w/ Advisory Panel & Committee Vote @ 4PM
  • Monday, 06/12: Committee Meeting, 1st mandatory architect meeting to review Tour requirements @ 5:30PM
  • Monday, 07/11: Committee Meeting, @ 5:30PM
  • Monday, 08/14: Committee Meeting, @ 5:30PM
  • September and early October, Docent training scheduled with architects and ambassadors
  • Monday, 09/11: Committee Meeting, 2nd mandatory architect meeting to finalize webinar planning and scheduling @ 5:30PM
  • Monday, 10/09: Committee Meeting, @ 5:30PM
  • Friday, 10/27: VIP Party
  • Saturday-Sunday, 10/28-10/29: Homes Tour Weekend!
  • Sunday, 10/29, Afterparty after the Tour, @ 6PM! Location TBD
