Welcome to your registration page for the Blackshear Fine Arts Academy + AIA Austin designvoice competition. The competition is to design a custom student performance venue in east Austin. Individuals and teams of architects, engineers, designers, contractors and community members are welcome to register!


REGISTRATION DEADLINE Wednesday, October 18, 2017 | SPACE IS LIMITED TO 55 PARTICIPANTS

DESIGN CHARRETTE | Saturday, October 21, 2017 9:30AM - 5:30PM

The competition will begin with a design charrette where teams will collaboratively create ideas for this student amphitheater and present them to a jury. Designers will then have one month to absorb the jury feedback and prepare a final presentation board due on Monday, November 20th, 2017. The charrette will take place in the Auditorium at Blackshear Fine Arts Academy at 1712 E 11th St., Austin, TX 78702.

Please specify if you are signing up for the competition with a pre-selected team, otherwise you will be paired up with other individuals for the day of the charrette Saturday, October 21, 2017. Please note every team will be required to have at least one architect/designer. MAXIMUM 5 PEOPLE PER TEAM AT THE CHARRETTE.
If you have formed a team, please list all of your team member's names. PLEASE NOTE: Each team member will need to register individually and pay their $15 entry fee.
