Lee Gros Architect and Artisan, Inc. was established in 2005 to provide sustainability consulting services in Austin, Texas and the surrounding area. Lee Gros is a talented professional with many years of practical experience and training in the green building movement. He is committed to environmentally successful projects, regardless of type, size, scope or budget.  The artisan aspect of the business centers around a wood-fired brick oven, featured on HGTV's Generation Renovation in 2009, and consists of fun and informative artisan bread baking classes.   The firms work ranges from large-scale manufacturing facilities with complex, fast track design/build programs to small scale retailers interested in ‘greening’ their prototype store. Projects include medical office buildings, universities, manufacturing, multi-family, big box retail, estate developments, fitness centers, business parks and speculative office developments. The majority of the firms work has been with developers, building owners, and contractors and begins during the design phase with a collaborative integrated team approach and continues through the construction phase with detailed field reports documenting best practices and flagging issues to be addressed.    Lee Gros, AIA leads the firms work single handed at present. Lee has over 20 years of sustainability experience and a network of like-minded peers to collaborate with in response to ever-changing demands. Lee Gros Architect and Artisan, Inc. takes pride in managing the client’s expectations, the LEED process, Austin Energy's Green Building Program and the integrated design team approach.
