AIA Austin WiA // 2026 Licensure Sponsorship Application

AIA Austin Women in Architecture is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Licensure Sponsorship!

AIA Austin WiA’s Licensure Call to Action Subcommittee’s mission is to identify and remove barriers for women in the architecture field at various stages of their careers, including licensure. The committee works toward this goal by acknowledging and addressing historic gender-based challenges that may hinder participation or success in the profession.

Pursuing licensure provides individuals with greater access to professional networks and resources, creating opportunities for professional growth and helping to build a professional culture that is inclusive of all genders.

The AIA Austin WiA Licensure Sponsorship provides financial assistance to recipients in the Austin metropolitan area, helping to ease the financial burden associated with the licensure process.

Applications are due Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Sponsorship recipients will be notified in the latter half of November 2026.
