This event is sold out.

Happy new year - it’s 2020! To start the year off right, the Small Firms Roundtable would like to place a little focus on work-life balance. It can be a tired topic, so we are going to bring it to life with a panel conversation featuring practitioners that both live and work together. How do these Austin architects balance the office, home, kids, pets, payroll, in-laws, employees, and everything in between? 1 LU (pending).

Guest Panelists for this event are:

  • David Webber & Ransom Baldasare (Webber + Studio)
  • Lucy Begg & Robert Gay (THOUGHTBARN)
  • Frank Lin & Megan Lin (Co(X)ist Studio)

Members of AIA Austin Small Firms Roundtable meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:45am to learn and discuss architectural practice and continually reach out to a diverse community of emerging small firms owners. Our meetings are open to all, and we encourage you to join us!

Small firms are generally characterized as having 10 or fewer employees, designing small to medium projects.

2020 Chair: Tim Derrington, AIA
2020 Chair-Elect: Sean Guess, AIA
