Learning Objectives:
1) Participants will learn effective ways to communicate with a general contractor and clients during CA.
2) Participants will learn about the duties and responsibilities an architect may provide during CA.
3) Participants will learn how the architect’s role during CA can shift depending on the client needs, budget, and type of project.
4) Participants will learn how to incorporate CA into the scope of work provided for their clients.
Mission
Members of AIA Austin small firms' committee (generally characterized as having 10 or fewer employees, designing small to medium projects) meet monthly to learn and discuss architectural practice and continually reach out to a diverse community of emerging small firms owners.
The committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:45am.
