Join us Thursday April 20th at 11:45AM at the Austin Center for Architecture for a discussion on Firm Management. Leading the Roundtable discussion will be the AIA Austin President, Luis Jauregui, FAIA. He will be touching on issues related to running a successful architecture and design/build firm. Discussion to include topics such as:

  • Managing Growth Intelligently and Successfully
  • Hiring and Firing - When, how, and when not to
  • How to utilize and maximize staff potential
  • How to keep designing while managing a firm
  • Design/Build

Members of AIA Austin small firms' committee (generally characterized as having 10 or fewer employees, designing small to medium projects) meet monthly to learn and discuss architectural practice and continually reach out to a diverse community of emerging small firms owners.

The committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:45am.
