Working with a Landscape Architect


Join Travis Greig, AIA, and Michael Percy, ASLA, of Greig Percy Collaborative as they discuss the process of collaboration between architect and landscape architect and when to engage in services. Speakers will discuss contracts, design process, and budget.

  1. Participants will learn the role of a landscape architect and a range of services.
  2. Participants will learn when to engage a landscape architect and how the collaboration works.
  3. Participants will learn about the contracts, design process, and budgeting.
  4. Participants will learn about the value added to projects by landscape architects.

Members of AIA Austin small firms' committee (generally characterized as having 10 or fewer employees, designing small to medium projects) meet monthly to learn and discuss architectural practice and continually reach out to a diverse community of emerging small firms owners.

The committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:45am.
