Members of AIA Austin small firms' community (generally characterized as having 10 or fewer employees, designing small to medium projects) meet monthly to learn and discuss:  business and technical issues; advocacy; and, camaraderie and business networking.  This committee is for AIA Austin Members Only.

The committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:30am.  Contact the commitee chair to learn more about how to get involved in this committee.

Please join the Small Firms Roundtable to hear from Thom Singer, business coach and author of Some Assembly Required: How to Make, Grow and Keep Your Business Relationships. Thom is an expert in social networking and developing a personal brand. He has worked in sales and marketing capacities at several Fortune 100 companies and regularly speaks to corporate audiences, law firms and professional organizations.
Thom will cover the following topics:
·        Better understand  the mechanics of networking for the purposes of creating a vibrant pipeline of prospective clients and how to cultivate relationships that become long-term and mutually beneficial
·        The art of following up with people you meet in business setting and create a system of planned communications that will facilitate the more business
·        Creating an “integrated visibility program” where the participants will balance networking, marketing, sales, image, advertising, and business development into one focused initiative. 

·        Participants will be inspired to take action and make their personal and professional brand a priority.
