Mission
The Custom Residential Architects Network Committee is a resource for those that practice residential architecture.  Special programs and continuing education are provided at each meeting.

The committee meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 11:30am.  Contact AIA Austin or the committee chair to learn more.  All committee meetings are open to non members and anyone with an interest in residential design.

February's Meeting:  Architects Guide to Residential Design

Michael Malone, AIA will provide an overview program that discusses the conditions of a residential design practice that make it unique from the delivery of other architectural practice.
1) Attendees will learn how residential architectural practice differs from other types of architectural practice.
2) Attendees will learn how to develop and service a residential client base.
3) Attendees will understand the unique aspects of residential client relationships and how to incorporate these considerations into instruments of service and contracts.
4) Attendees will learn to identify and describe the appropriate scope of services to be performed and how to quantify and provide them.
