The Public Interest Design Institute (PIDI), to be held at UT Austin on March 22 and 23, will offer training for architects on how to become proactively engaged in this rapidly growing field.  Learning objectives include finding new clients, learning about new fee sources & structures, understanding public interest design and leveraging other partners and assets to address project challenges.  Research from the 2011 AIA Latrobe Prize and 2012 SEED Award projects will be presented.  PIDI participants will become certified in this emerging public practice and earn continuing education credits. 

Registration fee is $450.  AIA members receive a $100 discount, and an additional $100 early bird discount is also available until February 23.
