Design Talks is AIA Austin's annual speaker series comprising five events that appeal to architects and design enthusiasts from the greater public. This year’s speakers will include designers from across the globe.

The George Washington Carver Museum is a Cultural Center in East Austin, housed in the former George Washington Carver branch of the Austin Public Library.

Through the preservation and exhibition of African American material culture, history, and aesthetic expression, the Carver Museum works to create a space where the global contributions of all Black people are celebrated.

Donna Carter, FAIA, principal of Carter Design Associates designed the Museum. Please join us to hear about the how this important resource was created, how it fits into the greater Austin context, and plans for the museum's expansion.

Lunch will be served! Spots are limited so reserve yours HERE.
