Twin Houses in the Deep Eddy Neighborhood: Designing and Permitting a Main House and ADU on a Wooded Central Austin Site
 

Presentation and building tour led by Cindy Black, AIA.

Topics covered during this presentation include:
1) Parameters and building constraints related to Accessory dwelling units.
2) Compliance with Visitability Ordinance in a residential development.
3) Residential permit review process related to site planning, protected trees, water meters, energy, and historic review for demolition.
4) Design using historical references to the Austin bungalow.
