The next scheduled CRAN meeting will be held at the BMC READY-FRAME® workshop in south Austin. The meeting will start with a conversation about advanced framing, followed by a tour of the workshop where trusses and wall panels are built to exact blueprint specifications, then end with a lively question-and-answer session. Project managers, truss designers, and EWP specialists will be in attendance to answer questions.

Learning Objectives:
1) Understand how advanced framing can make for a more sustainable and efficient construction process.
2) Understand the process and limitations of producing trusses and pre-assembled walls.
3) Understand how mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sytems are accounted for in the fabrication process.
4) Understand the technology used and how it works with architectural drafting softwares.

Lunch will be generously provided by BMC.

Please wear clothing suitable for a construction site, i.e. no heels, close-toed shoes only. Safety vests and glasses will be provided.

CRAN is a resource for those that practice residential architecture. Special programs and continuing education are provided at each meeting. Our meetings and events are open to everyone, and we invite you to become more involved with CRAN.
