Each year, the Custom Residential Architects Network teams up with the Home Builders Association to host a collaborative session on residential design and construction. Please join us for this year's panel discussion at the BMC Design Center.

HBA/CRAN Panel Discussion: Construction Administration

A panel of three architects and three builders who have worked together will discuss best practices during the Construction Administration phase of a project. 
Panelists: Matt Slusarek of Alterstudio Architects, LLP & Tom Sullivan of CleanTag LLC, Matt Garcia of Matt Garcia Design & Bernie Calcote of Melde Construction Company, and George Wilcox of Clayton&Little Architects & Luke Mezger of Mezger Homes.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendee will explore best practices during the Construction Administration phase.
2. Through the presentations made by architects and builders who have worked together, the attendee will gain knowledge of how communication throughout the building process makes for a more energy efficient, economical, and beautiful building for the client.
3. Architect/Builder teams will present the lessons they have learned while working together, and how those lessons have contributed to the health and welfare of the finished home.
4. Attendees will examine roles of both architect and builder during the Construction Administration phase.


CRAN is a resource for those that practice residential architecture. Special programs and continuing education are provided at each meeting.
