Thank You to our ARF volunteers & donors!!

A few weeks ago the Architecture in Schools Committee spent 3 mornings hosting Box City during the 2nd Annual Andy Roddick Foundation's Summer Learning Programs at Pecan Springs Elementary School.  The 6-week summer camp theme was the Amazing Race and we were part of Asia Week.  Each group of students was given an Amazing Race Ticket which introduced them to a significant Asian architecutral building or landform.  The students did some research about the buildings, built models, and then located the building site on a huge map of Asia. The students built some really incredible models!

A lot of folks helped to pull the program together, volunteered their time, and donated recycled building supplies and we wanted to send a BIG THANK YOU to all of them!!

Thank you so much for your support, time, and donations - we couldn't have pulled off such a successful event without your help!

Please flip through pictures (arrows next to the image) to see your donations put to use in the models.

Thank You from Meredith & the Architecture in Schools Committee
