AIA Austin and the Center for Architecture is the hub of all things design in Austin. Throughout the year, AIA Austin offers a vibrant calendar of programs geared for those in the profession as well as the general public to expore our local built environment and learn more about architecture in Austin and beyond.

Homes Tour

Every year for 30 years, AIA Austin has produced what has become a nationally recognized tour of homes designed by architects for specific clients. Diversity and design excellence are showcased in the tour held every October. Homes are submitted by AIA Austin Architect members and selected by the Homes Tour committee. Design and Honor Awards

The Design Awards Committee issues a call for entries every year to recognize the very best of Austin architecture. Juried by a group of architects from around the United States, recipients are chosen and then celebrated at the annual Awards Celebration.

Our members and those outside the profession who have made a positive impact on our city, the profession or the organization are recognized in our Honor Awards program and the recipients are celebrated at the Awards Celebration as well.  Learn more here.

Summer Conference

Each year in August we provide the design community with an educational conference offering up to 18 hours of professional and continuing education. We also host a Vendor Expo during the Summer Conference, highlighting local vendors and services.

Luncheon Speaker Series

Five times a year, AIA Austin hosts fun and informative lunchtime gatherings featuring speakers discussing topics relevant to those interested in architecture and design.
