Call for Entries

The call for entries for the 2020 AIA Austin Homes Tour is now open! This year's AIA Austin Homes Tour Weekend will be held on October 17 and 18. For information on the submission process, download the application packet (which contains submission requirements and eligibility criteria) below and plan to attend the Architect Q&A Meeting. Important Dates

  • Architect Q&A Meeting (recommended): Monday, March 9 at 5:45pm
  • Application deadline: Thursday, April 2, 5:00pm; Shortlisted candidates notified: by Friday, April 17
  • Project Site Visits:  Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3
  • Winning architects will be notified the week of May 11 and announced publicly the week of May 18
  • Two Mandatory Architect Meetings: Monday, June 8, 5:45pm and Monday, Oct. 5, 5:45pm
  • Homes Tour Weekend: October 17 – 18, 10am - 6pm
