In the role of Project Manager, your duties will include:
- Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other team members
- Lead project teams during all phases of design
- Manage all aspects of projects for successful and efficient execution of work
- Serve as the primary point of contact and client liaison
- Responsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget alignment and management
- Oversee project teams and participate in staffing reviews and resource assignments
- Participate in marketing and project pursuit efforts
- Provide and manage communications with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases
- Supervision, support, and mentoring of junior staff
- Monitor project delivery through all phases of design and construction
Requirements:
- Professional degree in architecture
- Licensed Architect
- Revit knowledge and experience
- Approximately 10+ years of professional experience
- At least 2 years of project management experience preferred
- Experience with projects over 50,000sf/$15M construction cost preferred
- Comfort with project design, construction documentation, production, and construction
- Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
- Understanding of project management process and risk management
- Experience reviewing contracts
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- A collaborative and professional work ethic
- Interest in public building typologies: higher education architecture and planning, civic architecture
- Passion for the craft of construction and high-quality design
