In the role of Project Architect, your duties will include:

  • Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other team members
  • Coordinate and produce schematic, design development, and construction documents
  • Lead consultant coordination and coordinate engineering systems • Perform all construction administration duties including review of shop drawings, material samples, and submittals for conformance with design
  • Assist with and review project specifications and/or coordinate with specification writer
  • Maintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases
  • Supervision, support, and mentoring of junior staff
  • Support and participation in project pursuits as necessary


  • Professional degree in architecture • Licensed Architect • Extensive Revit knowledge and experience
  • Approximately 5-10 years of professional experience • Comfort with project design, construction documentation, production, and construction.
  • Experience with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.
  • Experience with detailing and coordinating exterior envelope design.
  • Understanding of project management process
  • Experience reviewing construction documentation
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • A collaborative and professional work ethic • Interest in public building typologies: higher education architecture and planning, civic architecture
  • Passion for the craft of construction and high-quality design
