Job description
We are looking for a full time Operations Manager/Bookkeeper to handle all aspects of administration and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the administration of a small business, preferably in a creative environment. Specifics include:
- General office management duties: the full range of tasks such as answering the phones, maintaining files, ordering supplies, managing schedules, etc.
- All human resource functions
- Bookkeeping, including:
- Project Invoicing
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Preparing detailed financial reports
- Tracking billable hours
- Preparing client contracts and providing sales support
- Liaison with vendors and subcontractors
- Front-line contact with prospective clients
Qualifications
- Although we are a small, casual firm, we are very busy and growing fast. This is a job for a
- seasoned Operations Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper who has held this position elsewhere.
- Candidates must come to the job already possessing the qualifications outlined below.
- A knowledge of accounting principals
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate, analyze and interpret financial and company performance reports
- QuickBooks proficiency
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs, including Excel
- Articulate, confident and well spoken – comfortable as the front-lines contact with clients
- Positive attitude, good sense of humor and an ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment
