We are looking for a junior level designer who wants to be part of our supportive, high performing team.
Moontower offers competitive pay, performance incentives, continuing education support, and generous benefits for full time employees. This is a full time, in-office position in our East Austin headquarters. Based on experience our base compensation range is: $60,000 to $70,000.

Junior Designers in our office will grow and develop their skills through mentorship so that they acquire the knowledge and experience to one day lead their own projects. This is a critical support role where designers will participate in the entire design process.
Junior Designer Responsibilities:
1. Design & Production Support (Research, SD, DD, CD, & Permitting)
- Code research and permitting
- As-built measurements
- Design charrettes
- Modeling, drawing, and rendering production
- Selection presentations and samples
2. Construction Administration Support
- Photo and field report documentation
3. Project Management & Administrative Support
- Design schedule updates
- Meeting agendas and minutes
4. Administrative Support
- File organization
- Maintain detail library

2+ years of experience is required.
Software we use in our Mac and iPad based office:
ArchiCAD, Morpholio Trace, Twin Motion, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Google Sheets, Slack, and Construction Online.
We are considering candidates with architecture degrees from accredited programs.
