The primary role of Junior Architect / Designer  is to act as project support through producing construction documents and creating presentation documents. This role will assist with graphic design (rendered site plans, unit plans, site analysis) and renderings for StoryBuilt architecture projects as well assist in the production of construction documents for a large variety of project types, including mixed use, multi-family and single-family residential.
 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor (5 yr.) or Master Degree in Architecture is preferred, but other related degrees will be considered.
  • Some previous experience in an architecture office setting is preferred (1-3 years), but not required.
  • Talented graphic design abilities and a portfolio to exhibit these skills
  • Experience with creating and giving presentations
  • A strong eye for design and a proactive approach to solving problems
  • Software: Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit experience is preferred but not required.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • During Land Planning, the role will assist the StoryBuilt team with graphic design of site plans, site analysis and diagrams, and renderings of project concept. Role may also assist with zoning analysis and land planning iterations.
  • During Schematic Design, the role will assist the project lead with presentation drawings and renderings as needed, as well as assisting with modeling in Revit.
  • During Design Development and Construction Documents, the role will be responsible for producing construction documents under the supervision of the project lead.
  • During the marketing phase of StoryBuilt projects, the role will assist with creating marketing deliverables for project marketing releases.

Compensation and Benefits:
