The Dallas office is looking for an Intermediate Architect to join our Healthcare team.

Working with us, you will:

  • Perform architectural assignments under general direct supervision.
  • Coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Relate building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances and other external uses.  
  • Consult with manufacturers, researches and proposes materials and products.
  • Participate in construction administration including responding to RFI’s, preparing sketches and addendums (CCD’s), visiting the construction site to gather information, prepare punch lists, and answer contractor questions as owner's representative.
  • Advance designs.
  • Create and develops planning and design concepts for small projects while independently assessing design requirements.
  • Work with the design and planning lead to develop and detail building systems and components, beginning in schematic design through construction documents. Contribute to the schematic design of projects and be responsible for functional aspects of the proposed solutions.

An ideal candidate has:

  • At least 4 years of experience with a degree in Architecture.
  • High proficiency with Revit, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design programs.
  • Ability to communicate ideas well both graphically and verbally.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to grasp complex functional program requirements.
  • Strong background in design.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment with a collaborative and professional work ethic.
  • Understanding of healthcare codes, guidelines and regulations.
  • A strong interest in the healthcare market and healthcare planning trends.
  • LEED AP or LEED BD + C or LEED GA accreditation preferred.

We offer 3 weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment, with the option of purchasing additional time off, and pay for 8 federal holidays.
