We are seeking an experienced Environmental Graphic Designer to shape the experiences and interactions that people will have with information in the built environment.

The position: Your role will be to create environmental graphic design strategies for large experiential environments, to refine and develop design strategies in coordination with large creative teams, and to execute those designs through project completion. You will be responsible for understanding business drivers and user needs in order to generate one-of-a-kind experiences that merge digital media and the built environment. To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Lead design efforts and collaborate with architects, brand strategists, UX/UI designers, and content creators of all types.
  • Think at the urban design scale, deliver strategy for a broad range of experience types, and execute as a craftsperson.
  • Participate in primary and secondary design research activities; analyze and synthesize data into frameworks; communicate clearly with internal and external teams; and develop concepts for user experiences.
  • Bring passion to delivery of great work that engages visitors, builds communities, creates memorable places, and connects brands and customers.
  • Move between creative disciplines, utilize analytical and critical thinking capabilities, exhibit curiosity, and perform collaboratively.


  • Experience leading projects that have digital and physical manifestations.
  • Experience with projects of some of the following types: urban design, retail, mixed use, sports, commercial.
  • Have a well-established creative process and the visual and verbal communication skills to wring value from that process.
  • Six or more years of experience environmental graphic design.
  • A degree in graphic design, environmental graphics, or architecture.
  • Experience with an architecture practice, or similar, is a plus.
