We work collaboratively with some of the very best Architects building award winning projects for discerning clients. Our offices are located on the West side of Austin from which we serve Austin and surrounding Central Texas area. Every member of our team shares a passion and commitment to excellence. Construction Coordinator:

We are seeking a team player with an outstanding work ethic who can take a lead role in our operations and is able to support our project management team. The ideal candidate is an experienced, competent, efficient, organized, creative, dedicated, honest, effective building professional.

The position is best suited to a person with a strong construction understanding and background who can read blueprints, assimilate and translate construction documentation for implementation into standard processes and procedures to support field operations. The Construction Coordinator works diligently and collaboratively with Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers to help facilitate a seamless building process from beginning to end.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Estimating (experience with Bluebeam software a plus)
  • Scheduling (pre-construction and construction)
  • Project Documentation (RFI’s, Submittals, Selections, CO’s, construction photo documentation)
    • Ensure standardized processes are used throughout our construction documentation
    • Act as a "gate-keeper" of the project document management system – consistency control
    • Train and direct users in the day-to-day document management functions
    • Effective reporting of cost and schedule implications to Owner and Project Managers
    • Implement workflows, routing equipment and tools, etc.
  • Safety program management
  • Asset / Equipment management
  • Material procurement (knowledge of PO protocols a plus)

Minimum requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of email management / cloud based file management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Detail-orientated with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Efficient in management of time and resources
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver excellent results
  • Punctual with an outstanding work ethic
  • Strong, stable prior employment history
