Join UT School of Architecture faculty members David Heymann, FAIA, and Matt Fajkus, AIA, for a conversation about the potential roles of physical models in the architectural design process, including for internal review and critique, as well as for presentation to others. 1 LU for registered attendees.


LiA is proud to announce PERSPECTIVASdosmil16!  This exhibit aims to showcase the work and talent of Latino architectural professionals and designers practicing in the State of Texas, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept.15-Oct.15). The exhibit will be displayed at the Austin City Hall and the Austin Center for Architecture. Final exhibit dates to be confirmed.

East Austin Roundtable

Come join Latinos in Architecture, Real Estate Council of Austin, and East Side residents at the Mexican American Cultural Center on September 29th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening of honest conversation about how development, architecture, and cultural preservation play a role in re-shaping the East Side neighborhood. The event will include an architect (Scott Ginder, Forge Craft Architecture), a developer (Terry Mitchell, Momark Development), and a community leader (Raul Alvarez, Community Advancement Network) and will be moderated by Mellisa Robledo (Landscape Forms).
