Event ACC Adaptive Reuse Project Tour

Originally part of Austin High School, the existing gymnasium facility was built in 1928.  Austin Community College purchased the entire campus, but the gym has sat unused since 1975.  Even with expansion to new outlying campuses, ACC found that the core campus remained very popular, and required more space.  Understanding the old gym’s sentimental value, they decided to insert a floor level inside of the gym space, to convert the building to classroom and office use.  

Event Tour: Arthouse at the Jones Center

Please join AIA Austin and Lead Architect Paul Lewis of LTL Architects for a tour of Arthouse at the Jones Center, followed by a viewing of the film Regular or Super: Views of Mies van der Rohe, part of the Rooftop Architecture Series.

The film is free for Arthouse members and $10 for non members.  You can purchase tickets for the movie after the tour.  Spirits and food for sale by Royal Blue Grocery or you can bring your own. The film begins at 8pm.
