AIA Austin is holding its annual Homes Tour the weekend of October 2 - 3, 2010, 12 noon - 6pm each day.  This year marks the 24th anniversary of the tour, which has earned a regional and national reputation.  The tour is a self-guided tour of 12 homes.

Event Legislative Breakfast and Building Tour

In December 2006, Humanities Texas moved into the historic 11,000-square-foot Byrne-Reed House at 1410 Rio Grande Street. At its new headquarters five blocks from the Texas Capitol, Humanities Texas will, for the first time, be able to host public programs for local residents and visitors to the state’s capital city.

Event Escobedo Construction Tour

September 17, 2010 - 12:00pm to 7:00pm

This event has already occurred.

Please join David and Kathy Escobedo and their staff for an AIA sponsored open house with tours of their 30,000 square foot facility on going through out the afternoon.  Tours usually take approximately 45 minutes, and will encompass Escobedo’s main offices as well as their stand alone stone, steel, and wood shops. 

There will be ongoing tours from Noon to 7:00pm.  Please come if/when you can!

Food and beverage provided by Escobedo Construction.

2010 HousingWorks - All Kinds of Homes in All Parts of Town

Coming in June is Housing Works' Affordable Housing Tour.  Be sure to check out their website for event information.  Last year's after tour networking event at the Long Center was especially successful.
