AIA Austin is pleased to announce the return of Box City!

In celebration of Earth Day, the Architecture in Schools program will host a Box City event at Mueller Farmers’ Market on Sunday, April 28th, 11am - 2pm. Children learn about the design and construction industry by sketching designs for their buildings, requesting permits, and constructing those buildings out of recycled cardboard boxes and various other recycled materials. A city grid serves as blank canvases, awaiting students’ creativity to develop a thriving city.
