Join Eva Schone and Luanne Stovall for a discussion of arguably the most influential design movement and school of the 20th century, the Bauhaus. The Bauhaus secured a firm place in history by defining a new way of living and shaping design education in the process. In the mere fourteen years of its existence between the two World Wars, the Bauhaus created and produced an impressive multidisciplinary body of work that transitioned from visionary to classic over the past century, embodying the paradigm shift from craft production to mass production.

The Homes Tour provides the community with examples of quality architecture designed by registered architects and members of AIA Austin. The annual Homes Tour is an important non-dues revenue source for the chapter. 2017 is the 31st anniversary of the Tour!

The AIA Austin Design Voice Committee began the DV3x2 Internship program in 2009. Since then, 29 students and 24 firms have participated in the program. DV3x2 was initiated to give high school students interested in design a glimpse of the daily life of a design office prior to delving into a university program.
