LiA is proud to announce PERSPECTIVASdosmil16!  This exhibit aims to showcase the work and talent of Latino architectural professionals and designers practicing in the State of Texas, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept.15-Oct.15). The exhibit will be displayed at the Austin City Hall and the Austin Center for Architecture. Final exhibit dates to be confirmed.

AIA Austin Latinos in Architecture's Las Piñatas ATX is an annual event that invites architects, designers, artists, community groups, and piñata enthusiasts to submit ideas for large-scale piñata installations for the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cutural Center's (MACC) Dia de los Muertos Festival. Join the Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) for a tour of the Seton Medical Center Austin (SMCA) Modernization and Refresh projects, led by John Anglada, Sr. Project Manager at Rogers O’Brien Construction. The projects include demolishing and rebuilding Operating Rooms, the PACU, ICU Pods, South Lobby/Patient Access offices, Emergency Observation Unit, and some LDRs, Post-Partum Rooms, and corridors.
