Here's something important to know: "Design Matters!"
Whether it's your home, the school your children attend, the office where you work, the stores where you shop, or the city you live in - how that space makes you feel, how it looks, how it functions - are controlled in large part by the way it is designed. And, we all deserve good design.
The Homes Tour will get started with the always sold-out Premier Party on Thursday night, October 2nd. People who buy tour tickets in advance can also buy tickets for this cocktail party, where they will be able to experience a home with unique personality that will not be open for the weekend tour. This party is a great way for design enthusiasts to gather in an inspiring space and talk about architecture. And for people who are thinking about designing a new home, the Premier Party is a great place to meet many of the Homes Tour’s architects. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the weekend of the tour. Each home is a ticket outlet (cash/check only). Ticketholders are given a wristband ticket and brochure with maps to each location. The only place to purchase a ticket with a credit card is the chapter office. **No photographs are allowed inside the homes or on each property.
